School Dress Code is in Effect
Immediately!
If you have any questions regarding the

Dress Code. School uniform shirts are on
sale now. If you need to order shirts please download the
ALPHA ACADEMY SHIRT
ORDER FORM
or stop into either school office during
business hours to pick one up. Payment for shirts, made by cash or check (Made
out to Alpha Academy) must be submitted with order form.
READ-IT CHALLENGE!
Your
Alpha student is now receiving points and tokens for reading material
recommended by their teachers.
Students
who meet his or her reading and writing goal will have the chance to visit
the Treasure Store.
We need
many volunteers to help set-up, operate and supply the store with items to
purchase by the student. The items should include “dollar store” gifts,
school supplies, toys, games, sports equipment, electronic items, edible
treats, etc.

ORIENTATION OVERVIEW
·
School begins each day at 8:00 am and
ends at 3:00 pm. All students arriving after 8 am must be signed in at the
front office to get a tardy slip before reporting to class.
·
RENOVATIONS INCOMPLETE: The 2nd,
3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be
transported by Alpha Academy to a local site for instructional time during
the first few days of school. Please send a brown bag lunch with your child
daily.
·
LUNCH: Each student is responsible for
bringing their own lunch. Please limit microwavable dishes. NO SHARP
UTENSILS ALLOWED!
·
Drop off and pick up students from the
rear parking lot at the Middle school. Elementary traffic will be directed.
·
Current telephone numbers are vitally
important! Your child’s teacher will send home information the first few
days of school. Please update and return your child’s “Emergency Contact”
form as soon as possible!
·
UNIFORMS: Pre-ordered uniform shirts are
available for pickup at the Middle School from 9 am – 1 pm. The required
uniform is navy blue or khaki pants or shorts, polo shirt purchased through
Alpha Academy; solid white or black shoes or sneakers. (Girls may wear
skirts, skorts, and jumpers.) * See Handbook – Student Dress Code Policy

School safety is a major issue. Always
sign in and out at the front office when visiting our campuses.

CELL PHONES will not be allowed during
school hours. The devices may not be visible or audible at anytime without
prior permission from an Alpha Academy staff member. Alpha Academy is not
responsible for the lost or damage to cell phones or other electronic
devices brought to school by your child.
·
A general school supply is available
on-line. Please wait until the first day of school to receive a school
supply list from your child’s teacher.
·
A Parent Task Force (PTF) welcome packet
will be sent home within the first week of school.
·
An Open House will be announced for a
later date.
·
Bus Transportation: A tentative bus
schedule is posted at each site. Please ensure you have submitted a
TRANSPORTATION REQUEST form. Each student must be accompanied by a
responsible person at the bus stop.
·
The STUDENT/PARENT HANDBOOK will be sent
home with each student within the first week of school.
Progress Reports sent home during the week of Sept.
22nd.
Innesbrook Fundraiser deadline Sept. 19th.
After-school sports registration deadline extended
until Sept. 19th.
